Antonio Andrews accounted for 136 yards rushing, 74 yards receiving and two touchdowns on Saturday as Western Kentucky rolled to a 42-17 win over Southern Mississippi in Bowling Green.
Western Kentucky quarterback Kawaun Jakes threw touchdown passes of 25, 36 and 2 yards. He finished the game 12-for-18 for 173 yards and no interceptions.
WKU amassed 560 yards of total offense while playing in front of a crowd of 23,532, the biggest in school history.
The Hilltoppers scored the game's first 14 points and scored the next 28 after a Golden Eagles field goal.

Western Kentucky safety Jonathan Dowling was ejected from the game in the third quarter for a hit to the head of Southern Miss receiver Tyre Bracken.
Western Kentucky is 3-1 for the first time since 2007.
Drake 28, Morehead State 25: Mike Piatkowski threw three touchdown passes, Gary Scott ran for 119 yards and a score, and a late interception helped Drake rally to beat visiting Morehead State in the Pioneer League opener for both teams.
Piatkowski, who was 29 of 41 for 268 yards, hit Joey Orlando on a 9-yard score in the second quarter. In the fourth, he found J.T. Teague and Nick Rosa for 16-yard touchdowns before Scott's 14-yard scoring run put the Bulldogs (2-2) up 28-17.
Rees MacShara's 4-yard run and a successful two-point conversion pulled the Eagles (1-3) within three, and Morehead State got the ball back with less than 2 minutes left. But Zach Lewis, who earlier threw a 26-yard touchdown to Donte Sawyer, was intercepted by Tyler Moorehead and the Bulldogs ran out the clock.
"We did some good things in all three phases of the game, but you have to give Drake credit," Morehead Coach Matt Ballard said. "They made a few more plays in the end."

Georgetown 27, Kentucky Christian 6: Tigers quarterback Neal Pawsat threw two touchdown passes and ran for another in a win at home. Pawsat had 249 passing yards, including a 22-yard score to Adam Schmitz and a 25-yard TD to Cory Cronin.
Union 10, Webber International (Fla.) 7: Bulldogs senior quarterback Mike Brinkley completed only 14 passes for 223 yards, but it was enough to make him the all-time leading passer in Union history. Brinkley, who has 7,906 career passing yards, threw a 35-yard TD pass to Domonique Jefferson.
