The college football season kicks off in earnest on Thursday night, and the new SEC Network will carry a live doubleheader.
No. 9 South Carolina hosts No. 21 Texas A&M at 6 p.m.
At 9:15 p.m., Temple visits Vanderbilt.
On Saturday, the SEC Network will carry three games live, beginning with Kentucky's season opener against Tennessee-Martin at noon.
Following the UK game will be Arkansas at No. 6 Auburn at 4 p.m. and Southern Mississippi at Mississippi State at 7:30.
The network has been on the air since Aug. 14, but some fans might require a refresher on how to find it now that football season is kicking off.
Here is a channel guide for viewers in the Central Kentucky area:
Time Warner Cable: Channels 79, 80 and 516 in standard definition, and channels 417, 517 and 518 in high-definition. Channels 80 and 518 will be used for alternate programming.
DISH Network: Channel 404 with the Hopper digital box or on channels 408, 596 and 597 depending on equipment.
DirecTV: Channel 611
