Pittsburgh Steelers first-round draft pick Bud Dupree was eager to get his first NFL training camp started on Sunday.
"Today will be a good day,” the former University of Kentucky star said, according to a report on the Steelers' website. "I am just eager to see how everything goes. I am ready to go out there and compete and get better as a team. I have been looking forward to it since I got drafted. I am ready to play."
Dupree said he expects to play well quickly for Pittsburgh.
"I am going to make an impact," Dupree said. "Whatever I need to do to help my team win, I will do. I just want to keep getting better every day."
