The Kentucky women's soccer team will host the Washington State Cougars (12-6-3) on Saturday night in its eighth appearance in the NCAA Tournament, the school announced Monday.
The Cats, ranked 17th in the NCAA Ratings Percentage Index, received their first tournament bid since 2006 after a 13-7 season and a 6-5 Southeastern Conference record. The first-round match starts at 7 p.m. at the UK Soccer Complex.
Tickets are available at the UK Ticket Office between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. or by calling 1-800-928-2287. The cost is $7 for adults, $5 for children (3-18) and UK students, and $3 for seniors. Children 2 and under get in free.
Louisville is in the Cats' bracket of the 64-team tournament and will host Dayton at the same time Saturday. The in-state rivals wouldn't play each other until the round of eight.
