BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — Indiana scored five runs in the eighth and three in the ninth to force extra innings and the Hoosiers got a two-out, two-run double from Michael Earley in the 10th to beat Kentucky 18-17 Tuesday.
UK (26-22) scored 14 runs from the fourth through the seventh innings to lead 16-8.
In the 10th, Indiana (24-22) got a leadoff single from Dylan Swift and a two-out walk by Alex Dickerson, who earlier hit his Big Ten-leading 21st homer of the season.
Earley belted a first-pitch, game-winning double.
UK's Lance Ray finished with two homers, a triple, double, two walks and five RBI. Ray, Braden Kapteyn and Marcus Nidiffer hit consecutive homers in the seventh. Nidiffer had five hits and three RBI.
Indiana catcher Wes Wilson, a Bryan Station graduate, went 2-for-3 with an RBI.
