Max Kuhn went 4-for-4 and A.J. Reed hit his 14th home run of the season to lead Kentucky to a 12-0 rout of Missouri at Cliff Hagan Stadium on Saturday night.
Reed's two-run homer in the fifth inning staked the Cats to a 2-0 lead and gave him home runs in five consecutive Southeastern Conference games.
UK (23-12, 7-7) padded its lead with a nine-run sixth inning. The Cats had seven hits in the inning — including two singles by Thomas Bernal — and took advantage of three Missouri errors.
Micheal Thomas, Ka'ai Tom, Storm Wilson and Matt Reida also had multiple hits in the game for Kentucky.
UK starter Dylan Dwyer (4-1) pitched 61⁄3 scoreless innings, allowing six hits, walking one and striking out three. Logan Salow and Zach Strecker worked the last 22⁄3 innings.
