Knight scores career-high 30 as Kentucky overtakes West Virginia 71-63

TAMPA, Fla. — Kentucky rode perseverance and willpower to a 71-63 victory over West Virginia on Saturday. Those qualities enabled UK to avenge an NCAA Tournament loss to West Virginia last year and advance to a Sweet 16 date with either George Mason or No. 1 Ohio State on Friday.
