Kentucky took charge of this one out of the gate, hitting 7-for-10 to go up 18-2. Anthony Davis scored 10 quick points to go along with seven early rebounds as the lead built to 29-9. Terrence Jones injured his finger and struggled when in the game (0 points, 1 rebound in the first half). After building the early lead, UK seemed to be on cruise control.
Biggest crowd reaction in the second half came when Kyle Wiltjer stroked consecutive three-pointers and UK led 64-37.
