It was an electric atmosphere and a game with an electric pace. UK started 7-for-10 from the field but Cody Zeller took it to Anthony Davis early. Both Davis and Zeller were quickly sidelined with two fouls. UK led early but Indiana was getting inside the UK defense. Terrence Jones helped UK build a 29-20 lead. IU Coach Tom Crean brought two players back in with two fouls and the game turned with a 21-8 IU run. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist helped UK close the first half for a 50-47 lead. Darius Miller and Doron Lamb heated up and UK moved ahead 79-66 at the 8:52 mark. Indiana didn't make it easy, but in the end UK had too many weapons and made its free throws.
