Kentucky will take part in a newly created event in Miami sponsored by the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2015, ESPN reported Saturday.
The Wildcats' opponent — South Florida — is coached by a friendly face, longtime John Calipari assistant Orlando Antigua.
The Hall of Fame doubleheader will take place in American Airlines Arena in Miami on Nov. 27, 2015, the ESPN report said. The other game will feature Ohio State facing Memphis.
Under the event's format, each of the four schools will play three home games in addition to the neutral-site contest in Miami, ESPN said.
Antigua, who coached under Calipari for six seasons at Memphis and Kentucky, was hired as South Florida's coach on March 31.
The two coaches won't have to wait until 2015 to go head to head, though. Kentucky will face Antigua's Dominican Republic National Team during its Big Blue Bahamas trip in August.
