Hundreds of fans, many holding signs, were on hand Sunday to welcome home the University of Kentucky men's basketball team after its season-ending loss to Wisconsin in the Final Four.
After their plane landed at Blue Grass Airport, players walked along the fence line and slapped hands with fans on the other side.
A bus took the team to Wildcat Lodge, where more fans waited. Players posed for pictures and signed some autographs.
Kentucky's run at a 40-0 season came to and end Saturday night with a 71-64 loss to the Badgers in the semifinals of the NCAA Tournament in Indianapolis. The Cats finished the season 38-1.
