In its news release, UK reminded fans that it will provide restroom facilities for those camping out for Madness tickets. UK also listed what campers cannot bring to Memorial Coliseum: permanent wooden-type structures, portable generators, propane tanks and other open-flame cooking devices, alcoholic beverages and tobacco products.
UK also noted that scalping tickets is against the law in Kentucky.
Because of ongoing construction on campus, space for parking will be limited, the news release said. UK encouraged fans to use Ticketmaster.com to obtain tickets.
UK said it would announce parking and transportation information regarding Madness tickets at a later date.
For those fans who choose not to attend Madness, they can still watch the festivities. Big Blue Madness will be televised live on the SEC Network.
