The honors and awards keep rolling in for Kentucky signee Jennifer O'Neill, who was selected a McDonald's All-American on Thursday night.
The 5-foot-6 guard from Bronx, N.Y., is the first McDonald's All-American to sign with UK.
The game will be played on March 31 in Columbus, Ohio.
The guard also was selected Thursday as one of the top 20 players in the nation by ESPN's Hoopgurlz.com, which broke its own All-Star team into East and West.
Never miss a local story.
Charmaine Tay, a fellow point guard out of Bloomfield Tech in New Jersey who has signed with Louisville, was also selected an All-Star by Hoopgurlz.
On Tuesday, O'Neill was named to the Women's Basketball Coaches Association High School All-America Team.
O'Neill is averaging 22 points, six assists and four steals per game in leading St. Michael Academy to a 16-4 overall record. O'Neill has eclipsed the 30-point mark four times this season.
