Seventh-ranked Kentucky defeated Marist 75-61 on Friday to extended its regular-season win streak over nonconference opponents to 11 games, and will seek its 12th such victory when it visits Wagner in the first-ever meeting between the two schools in Staten Island, N.Y., on Sunday.
Kentucky's last non-conference regular-season loss came to then-No. 1 Baylor last season in Waco, Texas, 85-51.
Kastine Evans led the Wildcats on Friday, going for 15 points and eight rebounds against the Red Foxes.
Sophomore Janee Thompson had 13 points in her first career start. Jennifer O'Neill and Bria Goss — with 11 and 10 points respectively — joined she and Evans as the four Kentucky players who scored in double figures.

Samarie Walker was the Wildcats' defensive standout at Marist, grabbing a game-high 11 rebounds along with three steals. The senior also recorded one block.
Kentucky shot 46.3 percent as a team on Friday. The team held Marist to 36.5 percent shooting, including a 23.5 percent mark from behind the three-point line.
Wagner, the pre-season pick to finish last in the Northeast Conference for the second straight season, is coming off a 3-26 season and returns two starters.
Stephanie Blais, a junior forward, is the team's leading returning scorer and rebounder. She averaged 10.3 points and 3.5 rebounds per game last season.
The Seahawks are in their second year under coach Lisa Cermignano, who served as an assistant at Vanderbilt from 2006-2009.
Kentucky is 3-0 all-time against NEC opponents. The Wildcats have twice defeated LIU Brooklyn, and have also beaten St. Francis (Pa.).
