When Kentucky hosts Tennessee State on Sunday afternoon, it will do so looking to bounce back from a 21-point drubbing at the hands of Duke in Durham, N.C. last week.
UK, ranked 12th in the nation, will tip off against the Lady Tigers at 2 p.m in Memorial Coliseum. It is the Wildcats' final non-conference game of the regular season.
Kentucky (10-2) is coming off its second loss of the season after falling 89-68 at then-No. 8 Duke last Sunday. The Blue Devils shot 55.8 percent from the floor and had six players score in double-figures, while Kentucky shot a season-low 31.3 percent.
Chelsea Hudson leads Tennessee State (3-7) with 14.2 points per game and is second on the team with 6.9 rebounds. The Tigers enter having won two of their previous three, but dropped their last game 75-71 at Troy on Dec. 20.
Larry Joe Inman, who was named OVC Coach of the Year five times during his tenure at Eastern Kentucky from 1988-2008, is the head coach at Tennessee State.
