Arkansas' 31-28 loss to Mississippi State on Saturday assured Kentucky a trip to a bowl game for the third consecutive season.
Nine bowl spots are reserved for Southeastern Conference teams if there are enough bowl-eligible teams to fill all nine. After the Razorbacks' defeat, it's possible for only nine SEC teams to gain eligibility this season.
Six victories are required for bowl eligibility. Kentucky (6-5) will be joined in bowl games by Alabama (11-0), Florida (10-1), Georgia (9-2), LSU (7-4), Mississippi (7-4), South Carolina (7-4) and Vanderbilt (6-5).
Auburn (5-6) needs to beat top-ranked Alabama on Saturday to become eligible.
Tennessee (4-7), Mississippi State (4-7) and Arkansas (4-7) cannot get to six wins.
