Former University of Kentucky standout Randall Cobb has signed a deal with Adidas to promote a new line of the company's football cleats.
Terms of the agreement were not announced.
Adidas announced partnerships Thursday with Cobb, along with fellow NFL prospect Von Miller of Texas A&M. Cobb joins a stable of pro football players representing the Germany-based company that also includes Reggie Bush of the New Orleans Saints, Eric Berry of the Kansas City Chiefs and Mario Williams of the Houston Texans.
Cobb, an All-American and All-Southeastern Conference player at Kentucky known for his offensive versatility, is preparing for next week's NFL Draft.
"I signed with Adidas for the adiZero 5-Star," Cobb said of the new football cleats, which Adidas touts as being the lightest ever made. "Versatility is the key to my game and the 5-Star gives me the speed and support I need to excel on the field."
