The first round of Thursday's NFL Draft went without Kentucky receiver Randall Cobb hearing his name called. Cobb, one of 25 prospects invited to the draft, will have to wait until the second round begins Friday at 6 p.m.
Three receivers were taken in the first round, two from the Southeastern Conference: Georgia's A.J. Green, who went to the Cincinnati Bengals with the fourth overall pick; Alabama's Julio Jones (Atlanta Falcons, No. 6); and Pittsburgh's Jonathan Baldwin (Kansas City Chiefs, No. 26).
