Offensive lineman Larry Warford and wide receiver LaRod King were the only two University of Kentucky players named Thursday to the pre-season All-Southeastern Conference teams voted on by the league's coaches.
Defending national champion Alabama and defending Southeastern Conference champion LSU each had 11 players named, followed by Arkansas with 10, to lead the list of 87 athletes.
Vanderbilt and Mississippi matched Kentucky for the league's fewest selections with two each. Newcomers Texas A&M and Missouri had seven and four players recognized, respectively.
LSU had the most first-team selections with seven, followed by Alabama and Arkansas with four each.

Warford, a senior from Richmond, was named to the first team. King, a senior from Radcliff, made the second team.
This marks the ninth year of the coaches' pre-season team, which is announced each season in advance of SEC Media Days. Those take place next week in Hoover, Ala.
