Top-five recruit Josh Selby announced Saturday night that we will play next season at Kansas, picking the Jayhawks over Kentucky and several other schools. Selby made the announcement during the first half of the Jordan Brand Classic on ESPN2.
Selby averaged 32 points and seven assists last season for Lake Clifton High School in Baltimore.
Most recruiting analysts rate Selby as a "one-and-done" player. He said his NBA aspirations were part of the reason he chose Kansas.
"That's the best place for me to mature and get to the next level," Selby said.
