Five-star point guard De'Aaron Fox will announce his college decision Thursday night on ESPNU's Recruiting Nation: Basketball Signing Day Special, which will air on the network from 6-7 p.m.
Fox — the No. 1 point guard in the class of 2016 — has narrowed his college choices to Kentucky, Louisville, Kansas and Louisiana State. He visited UK for last month's Big Blue Madness and is widely expected to announce his commitment to the Wildcats on Thursday.
"I don't think much has changed," said Scout.com director of recruiting Evan Daniels. "I think Kentucky has been the frontrunner for quite some time, and it's just been about De'Aaron settling on that choice and feeling 100 percent comfortable with it and then going out and pulling the trigger.
"I fully expect that he picks Kentucky on Thursday."
Five-star forward T.J. Leaf is the only other recruit scheduled to reveal his college decision on the show. Leaf has narrowed his list to UCLA, San Diego State and Oregon, and the Bruins are considered the most likely choice.
North Carolina State commitment Dennis Smith Jr., and uncommitted post player Thon Maker will also appear on the program, though Maker will not be announcing his college decision.
The weeklong early signing period for college basketball begins Wednesday.
