Joe B. Hall on what Kentucky needs to do to beat Louisville:
■ "I think the key is (Peyton) Siva. He's so good at breaking down the defense on the dribble. You can't let him draw all of the defense and then have him kick it out to (Kyle) Kuric and Chris Smith on the perimeter."
■ "You've got to be able to contain Russ Smith. He's really good with the ball, and has the ability to get shots that nobody else can get."
■ "Keeping (Chane) Behanan off the boards is a must."
Never miss a local story.
■ "(Gorgui) Dieng is a shot blocker ... but I don't think you should hesitate taking it in there because he does have a tendency to foul."
■ "Louisville's full-court press is so good. They play it soft for a while, and you get comfortable with that. Then all of a sudden they put a real hot attack on you. If you don't handle that change in pressure, they'll get some steals and score a lot of points in a hurry."
Denny Crum on what Louisville needs to do to beat Kentucky:
■ "Kentucky is such a good all-around team it's hard to say there's just one key. But the biggest thing is, (Louisville) has to hit open jump shots instead of taking it all the way to the hole and getting it blocked in there."
■ "(Peyton) Siva is the key guy for Louisville, but Kentucky can still be really good even if one of their main guys doesn't have a good game."
■ "Louisville's got to force Kentucky into a bunch of turnovers so they can get some easy baskets because they're gonna have a hard time outrebounding Kentucky."
■ Kentucky can dominate you in three, four or even five different ways. They're favored for a reason. They've earned the right and deserve to be favored. If they play well, they'll be hard to beat."
■ "Louisville has already beaten one No. 1 seed (Michigan State). Anything can happen in a basketball game."
