Freshman Ben McLemore had a career-high 33 points, including a tying 3-pointer with a second left in regulation, and No. 6 Kansas rallied to beat Iowa State 97-89 in overtime Wednesday night.
McLemore was 10 of 12 from the field and perfect on six 3-pointers for the Jayhawks (13-1, 1-0 Big 12), who scored the first nine points of overtime to wrap up their 12th straight win.
Iowa State (10-4, 0-1) poured in 14 3-pointers, and had forged a 79-76 lead with 8.4 seconds left in regulation. But the Jayhawks' Elijah Johnson found McLemore on the wing, and he banked in a 3-pointer from well beyond the arc with a single tick on the clock to force overtime.
No. 8 Minnesota 84, No. 12 Illinois 67: Joe Coleman scored 29 points and Andre Hollins added 19 to help the Gophers (15-1, 3-0 Big Ten) remain undefeated in the Big Ten.

Eastern Kentucky 77, Murray State 65: Corey Walden and Mike DiNunno scored 20 points each to lead the Colonels (12-4, 3-0), who have outscored its first three OVC opponents by 40 points in the first half. The Racers (11-4, 2-1) were led by Isaiah Canaan with 24 points.
Austin Peay 84, Morehead State 81 (OT): The Governors' Travis Betran hit a three-pointer with one second left in overtime to win it. Morehead trailed much of the second half, but forced overtime on Drew Kelly's layup with two second left in regulation.
Bakari Turner's 19 points led four Eagles in double figures.
Hanover 69, Transylvania 64: Transylvania wiped out all but four points of a 20-point Hanover first half lead, but the Panthers held on to end the Pioneers' (10-4, 5-2) six-game win streak. The Panthers improved to 8-6, 5-2 in conference play.
Transylvania 95, Hanover 66: Nicole Coffman and Katelyn Smith scored career highs with 30 and 26 points, respectively, to lead the Pioneers.
