Darrun Hilliard scored a career-high 26 points and No. 8 Villanova set a school record for regular-season wins with a 73-56 victory over visiting Marquette on Sunday.
Josh Hart added 13 points and JayVaughn Pinkston had 11 points and seven rebounds for the Wildcats (26-3, 14-2 Big East), which has won four straight and 10 of 11.
The Wildcats had never won 26 regular-season games in the 95-year history of the program. Villanova had won 25 games four previous times, most recently in 2008-09, a season it reached the Final Four.
Deonte Burton scored 13 points for Marquette (17-12, 9-7).
No. 14 Wisconsin 71, Penn St. 66: Josh Gasser scored 15 points to lead a balanced Wisconsin offense and the visiting Badgers beat Penn State for their seventh straight victory. Wisconsin (24-5, 11-5 Big Ten) held onto third place in the Big Ten.
D.J. Newbill had 23 points for Penn State (14-15, 5-11), which dropped to 2-5 against ranked teams this season.
No. 20 Iowa 83, Purdue 76: Roy Devyn Marble scored 21 points and host Iowa snapped a three-game losing streak by beating Purdue. Aaron White and Mike Gesell added 15 points each for the Hawkeyes (20-9, 9-7 Big Ten), who have recorded consecutive 20-win seasons for the first time in eight years.
Rapheal Davis scored a career-high 18 points and A.J. Hammons had 16 points with 14 rebounds for Purdue (15-14, 5-11), which is on its second four-game losing streak in conference play.
Indiana 72, No. 22 Ohio St. 64: Kevin "Yogi" Ferrell scored 20 points and Will Sheehey added 19, leading host Indiana (17-12, 7-9 Big Ten) to its second straight win over a ranked team in the last four days. LaQuinton Ross and Lenzelle Smith Jr. had 19 points each for the Buckeyes (22-8, 9-8).
Centre 76, Oglethorpe 75 (OT): Collin Lopez hit a three-pointer with 19 seconds left to send the game to overtime, and top-seeded Centre went on to beat Oglethorpe in the championship game of the Southern Athletic Association Tournament.
Blake Scinta scored 18 points to lead the host Colonels (23-4). Lopez made two of Centre's nine three-pointers and scored 16 points. Ryan Murray had 10 points.
Transylvania 110, Hanover 70: Katelyn Smith led six Transy scorers in double figures as the host Pioneers routed Hanover in the finals of the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Tournament. Alex McKenzie (19 points, 11 rebounds) and Alex Botkin (14 points, 10 rebounds) had double-doubles for Transy (25-2), which shot 59.2 percent from the field.
Rhodes 79, Centre 60: Lauren Avant had 36 points, seven rebounds and five assists to lead Rhodes (23-2) over Centre (18-10) in the finals of the SAA Tournament. Paige Baechle scored 14 points for Centre.
