Andy Roberts, an Owensboro accountant, hopes the numbers add up as he tries to defend his Powerbilt Kentucky Open championship this week at Persimmon Ridge Golf Club in Louisville.
The 54-hole tournament begins Tuesday and runs through Thursday.
The Kentucky Open field also includes former champs Trey Bowling (2008), Cale Barr (2005), Grant Sturgeon (2002) and Keith Ohr (2001).
Chris Morris, a Centre College graduate who won the NCAA Division III title this spring, is also in the lineup, along with two-time State Amateur winner Jordan Blann, who is now a pro, and 2010 Kentucky PGA champ Blake Watts.
Never miss a local story.
Roberts won last year's Kentucky Open at Lexington Country Club.
