Madisonville senior Kaylee Tow and East Carter junior Montana Fouts were among twelve softball players selected to the American Family Insurance All-USA High School Softball first team announced Thursday by USA Today.
Tow, this year’s Miss Softball who’s signed with the University of Alabama, helped lead Madisonville to its first state softball title last weekend. Fouts, a pitcher who’s committed to Alabama, led the Raiders to their second straight appearance in the state tournament this season.
Those were the only two Kentuckians selected to any of the teams. Danielle Watson, a pitcher at Penn (Ind.) and one of the third-team selections, has signed with the University of Louisville.
