Trigg County High School won the KHSAA Archery state championship this week, beating out Henderson County and Anderson County for the title.
Trigg County posted 3,453 points, and was followed by Henderson with 3,415 and Anderson with 3,408.
Mary Aldridge of Western Hills (292 points) was girls' individual medalist, topping Sarah Shipley of Trigg County (291), Jessica Byrne of Henderson County (290), Taylor Bochantin of Franklin County (289) and Kaitlin Farthing of Harrison County (289).
Jerricho Vannoy of Hopkins County Central captured boys' medalist honors with 297 points. He was followed by Billy Holliday of Prestonsburg (297), Justin Mehs of Anderson County (296), Dustin Sexton of East Carter (296) and Grant Willoughby of Madison Central (295).
