Boone County (0-3) at Lafayette (0-3): Since beating Lafayette in the 2011 playoffs, Boone County has lost 14 of 15 games. The Generals' Kylan Nelson returned two kickoffs for touchdowns in last week's loss to Lexington Catholic. Nelson has returned four punts, three kickoffs and one interception for TDs in his career.
No. 7 Lexington Catholic (1-2) at No. 9 Bryan Station (1-1): David Bouvier became Lexington Catholic's all-time leader in receptions last week. He has 160, one more than Wes Caldwell. That's 18th on the state's all-time list. Bouvier's 2,291 receiving yards are third behind Caldwell (2,601) and Clay Wolford (2,586) in Knights history. Bryan Station quarterback Ora "Bo" Johnson has thrown for 777 yards and 10 TDs in two games.
Lexington Christian (1-2) at North Oldham (1-2): Louisville Christian beat Lexington Christian 38-13 and North Oldham 19-0. Lexington Christian's Nick Whitman is averaging 108 yards rushing in his first three games.
Paul Laurence Dunbar (2-1) at Madison Southern (3-0): Last year in 11 games Dunbar rushed for 999 yards and six TDs. In three games this year Dunbar has rushed for 932 yards and 14 TDs. Madison Southern is off to its best start since it won its first six games in 2005.
Tates Creek (3-0) at No. 21 Henry Clay (2-0): Commodores QB Graham Gordon has completed 75 percent of his passes for 552 yards and seven TDs. Henry Clay has rushed for 797 yards in two games, averaging 12 yards per attempt.

No. 21 Anderson County (2-0) at No. 5 Boyle County (3-0): Bearcats junior QB Zach Carmichael has run and thrown for 535 yards, five TDs. Boyle County sophomore QB Josiah Robbins has run and thrown for 579 yards, five TDs.
Owensboro (3-0) at No. 1 Bowling Green (2-0): Owensboro may have its best team since 2000 when it was state runner-up to Highlands. Bowling Green, riding a 32-game winning streak, may have its best team in history.
