Maile batted .514 with 55 RBI and 12 homers this season. He was also the Gatorade Player of the Year in Kentucky, and was the 9th Region's player of the year for the third season in a row.
Maile was taken by the Boston Red Sox in the 43rd round of last week's draft.
Maile will receive his Mr. Baseball award on Sunday, before the East-West senior all-star game at UK's Cliff Hagan Stadium at 1 p.m.
Lexington Catholic first-year coach Kevin Clary was named coach of the year by the KHSBCA.
