■ Taylor Barnette was 8-for-16 from three-point range and 15-for-25 overall, scoring 40 points and hitting the go-ahead three-pointer to help Lexington Christian edge visiting Lincoln County 58-57. The Eagles trailed 25-19 at halftime before rallying in the third quarter when Barnette went 8-for-9 from the field and scored 20 points.
Lincoln County's Zach Hill also had a big game, scoring 33 points and pulling down 13 rebounds. Luke Hill had 10 rebounds and Trenton Edgington had 11 assists and four steals for the Patriots.
■ Dominique Hawkins paced Madison Central with 24 points and six steals in a 64-54 victory at West Jessamine. Sean Donaldson led the Colts with 18 points and six rebounds, and Dylan Pohl had eight points and 11 rebounds.
■ Keith Miller led four players in double figures with 13 points in Kentucky Country Day's 59-47 victory against visiting Sayre. Blake Scinta and Jordan Schwartz added 11 points and Jason Geer had 10. Mike Smith scored 22 points and added five rebounds for the Spartans, who were outscored 20-8 in the fourth quarter. Cabot Haggin pitched in with 11 points and four assists for Sayre.
■ Covington Catholic's 6-foot-7 senior center, Jake Thelen, scored 28 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in the Colonels' 73-62 win at St. Xavier. Michael Ising had 23 points for the Tigers.
■ Both Corey Cruse and Tyler Fangman scored 20 points and Dixie Heights (7-0) defeated visiting Beechwood 75-50. Brandon Hatton accounted for more than half the Tigers' scoring with 27 points, six rebounds and three steals.
■ Tamron Manning scored 21 points and had four assists in host Scott County's 79-32 win against the Australian Travelers.
■ Carlos Litsey's double-double — 13 points and 14 rebounds — sent host Marion County to a 57-47 win against Campbellsville.
■ Simon Kenton didn't take the lead for the first time until there was 2:17 left in a 53-50 win against visiting Walton-Verona.
■ Adair County's Jeremy Franklin had 17 points and eight rebounds in a 57-35 win at Cumberland County.
■ Kaylyn Cecil and Adelaide Luckett scored 17 points apiece to lead Elizabethtown to a 91-34 rout of Central Hardin. Luckett also had 11 rebounds and four blocked shots and the Panthers outrebounded the Bruins 51-26. Cecil was 5-for-8 from three-point range. Alysse Bishop had 15 points, four rebounds and three assists for Central Hardin.
■ Nicole Coffman scored 37 points and Casey County (4-0) remained undefeated with a 57-43 victory at Whitley County.
■ Blair Hoover scored 19 points to go with eight rebounds and four steals in Russell County's 61-31 home victory against Clinton County.
■ Alaina Martin scored 19 points and Rose Hill defeated Collegiate 51-44 in the Lady Eagle All A Classic at Campbellsville. Burgin defeated Campbellsville 49-39 in the other matchup.
■ Shelby Valley sophomore Leeza Mullins had 11 points and 11 rebounds in the Wildcats' 52-34 home victory against East Ridge.
