Clark County, ranked fourth in Dave Cantrall's Rating the State, jumped out to a 10-point lead on Harrison County after the first quarter and won by that margin, 63-53, in the 10th Region boys' semifinals at Mason County on Friday.
Jaylen Daniel scored a game-high 20 points for the Cardinals (27-5). Robbie Stenzel added 16.
Jordan Stubbs led the Thorobreds with 23 points.
Scott 99, Augusta 69 (10th): Scott's Phillip Roberts scored 20 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in the semifinals. Ryan Stivers added 17 points in the Eagles' win.

Ashland Blazer 61, Elliott Co. 55 (16th): The Tomcats fell behind by eight early before taking a one-point lead at halftime and holding on for the victory. Corey Gregg scored 23 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for Ashland Blazer (24-6). Dylan Delaney hit three three-pointers and finished with 17 points and five rebounds.
Elliott County's Timmy Knipp was two blocks shy of a triple-double with 21 points, 11 rebounds, eight blocks and four assists. He struggled from three-point range, though, going 1-for-12. The Lions' Jacob Ison also had a double-double with 19 points, 14 rebounds and three blocked shots.
Rowan Co. 60, Lewis Co. 29 (16th): The Vikings outscored the Lions 15-2 in the second quarter to pull away in the semifinals. Jason Egan led the way with 14 points for Rowan (26-5). Adam Wing added 10 points and 12 rebounds.
Walton-Verona 47, No. 11 South Oldham 44 (OT): South Oldham was the team that was ranked, but Walton-Verona made it 2-for-2 in the matchup this season, this time in the region semifinals.
Sophomore Courtney Sandlin scored a team-high 18 points in the win for the Bearcats (24-8).
Jasmine Whitefield scored 21 for the Lady Dragons (22-6), who also lost to Walton-Verona 49-48 on Jan. 22.
Anderson Co. 47, Owen Co. 44 (8th): Sydney Brown scored 19 points in the semifinals for Anderson County.
No. 12 Newport Central Catholic 50, No. 23 Notre Dame 47 (9th): Hannah Thiem scored 12 points and Kiley Bartels had 10 to help the Thoroughbreds hold off Notre Dame in the semifinals. The Pandas were led by Payton Schilling's 15 points, and Chandler Clark had 10 points and 10 rebounds.
No. 6 Boone Co. 42, St Henry 33 (9th): Sydney Moss scored a game-high 20 points for the Lady Rebels.
No. 3 Bowling Green 47, Glasgow 41 (4th): Adrienne Tarrence scored 25 points and grabbed 10 rebounds and the Purples outlasted Glasgow in the semifinals. Diamond Marshall added 13 points and five rebounds.
No. 17 Monroe Co. 62, Todd Co. Central 34 (4th): Madison Clements scored 24 points and had 11 rebounds and five steals for the Falcons.
No. 14 Clay Co. 36, Corbin 33 (13th): Kayla Smith scored 14 points to help send Clay County to the finals.
South Laurel 42, Middlesboro 33 (13th): Macy Clontz and Andi House both scored 10 points in the Lady Cardinals' semifinals victory.
