Bell County punched its ticket to the boys' Sweet Sixteen, defeating Corbin 54-49 in overtime Monday night in the 13th Region finals at The Arena in Corbin.
Kyle Lee was perfect from the free-throw line (11-for-11) and scored 26 points to go with four rebounds for Bell County. Ben Madon also scored in double figures with 12 points, five rebounds and four steals.
Travis Smith scored 20 points for Corbin, and Brody Freeman had 10 points, seven rebounds and four assists.
Paducah Tilghman 68, Fulton Co. 58 (1st): Josh Forrest had 19 points, 12 rebounds and three blocks to help the Blue Tornado reach the finals at Murray State. Tilghman's bench, led by Darrius Brown's 12 points and eight rebounds, outscored the Pilots' 19-0.
Leonard Smith did the bulk of the work for Fulton County, scoring 42 points to go with 11 rebounds, five blocks and three steals.
The Pilots also got seven points, 11 rebounds and two assists from Dylan Johnson.
No. 22 Marshall Co. 53, Graves Co. 44 (1st): Stephen Atkinson scored 20 points and pulled down 12 rebounds in the semifinals for the Marshals. Atkinson was 8-for-8 from the free-throw line.
Blake Clark pitched in with 12 points and four rebounds for Marshall County. Jesse Anderson led Graves County with 15 points and two assists.
Wayne Co. 54, Pulaski Co. 48 (12th): Led by Gavin Dunagan's 13 points, the Cardinals had four scorers reach double figures in their semifinal victory played at Lincoln County. Dunagan was followed by Dagan Shelton (12), Ryan Hopper (11) and Austin Shearer (10).
No. 5 Christian Co. 80, Henderson Co. 60 (2nd): Christian County senior Anthony Hickey scored 35 points in his team's victory in the semifinals at Hopkinsville.
Knott Co. Central 47, Estill Co. 39 (14th): The Patriots outscored the Engineers by eight in the third quarter and went on to win in the semifinal matchup at Hazard. Nason Roberts led the way with 17 points and Zack Davis had 15.
