■ Lexington Catholic's Knights traveled a few blocks to Lafayette and beat the Generals 72-60. Jack Whitman led the Knights, ranked 16th in the state in Dave Cantrall's Rating the State, with 19 points and 11 rebounds. Craig Floyd added 25 points. The Generals got 16 from Tranard Chester. Catholic outshot Lafayette 48 percent to 34 percent.
■ Lexington Catholic held host Lafayette to four points in the first quarter and went on to a 53-26 rout. Catholic, ranked 16th in the state, got 19 points from Alex Botkin, who hit eight of 12 shots. Lafayette turned the ball over 26 times.

■ Sophomore forward Victoria McCoy had 17 points and 11 rebounds to lead Bryan Station past visiting Paul Dunbar 60-53. Junior Jordin Fender led Dunbar with 17.
■ Gabby Bowie, a 6-3 freshman, scored 22 points and pulled down 15 rebounds to lead Sayre past host Bourbon County 51-42. The winners outshot the losers 50 percent to 31 percent.
■ Junior point guard Larryn Brooks got 23 points, four rebounds, five assists and three steals to lead host Madison Central, ranked 19th in the state, to a 42-38 upset of No. 8 Clay County. The Tigers got 20 points from Cheyenne Madden.
■ No. 2 Marion County edged No. 9 Elizabethtown 68-62 despite being outshot 49 percent to 43 percent. Marion scored 12 points off 13 turnovers while losing the ball only six times.
