Boys
■ Madison Central, ranked sixth in Dave Cantrall's Rating the State, outscored South Laurel by 14 in the second quarter and 16 in the third to pull away for an 86-55 rout at home. Hunter Allen had 20 points and 11 rebounds for the Indians (27-1), and Quan Taylor had 16 points and 10 rebounds.
■ After the score was tied at 40-40 with 2:58 to play, Beth Haven closed on a 12-6 run for a 52-46 victory at home against Lexington Christian. Sean Brown led the Bearcats with 19 points and Brandon Pierce had 17 points and 12 rebounds.
Patrick Nicodem, Taylor Blair and Jon Lannertone each scored 10 points for the Eagles. Tyler Harville added five points, five steals, four rebounds and three assists.
Lexington Christian kept it close by scoring 19 points off 17 turnovers by the Bearcats.
■ Jack Sherry scored 16 points to lead South Oldham (17-8) past visiting Sayre 79-44. The Spartans' Ray Brewer had 19 points.
■ Morgan County senior Jagos Lasic had 26 points and 17 rebounds in a 70-62 victory at home against Allen Central.
Girls
■ Asia Sims, a freshman, and Anovia Byars, an eighth-grader, led Bourbon County to a 55-46 victory against visiting Burgin. Sims had 16 points, five rebounds, six assists and five steals. Byars had 12 points, four rebounds, six assists and five steals.
■ Pikeville's Rachel Potter, a junior guard, scored 38 points in a 66-62 victory at Paintsville. Shelby Carroll, a sophomore, scored 24 points for the Lady Tigers.
■ Whitley County freshman Taylor Dingess scored 26 points in an 88-40 win against visiting Jackson County.
■ Wolfe County's Keshia Prater had 19 points and 10 rebounds in a 53-35 victory at Lee County.
