Kentucky Mr. Basketball Quentin Snider and two of his future teammates at the University of Louisville have been selected to play in next month's Derby Festival Classic in Freedom Hall.
Snider and fellow U of L signees Jaylen Johnson and Chinanu Onuaku were among the 20 players listed for the game when rosters were released Wednesday. They will all play for the White Team.
There are no University of Kentucky signees in this year's Derby Classic. All four future Wildcats — Devin Booker, Trey Lyles, Karl Towns and Tyler Ulis — have committed to play in both the McDonald's All-American Game and the Jordan Brand Classic. High school players are permitted to participate in only two post-season all-star events.
The Derby Classic will be played April 18.
Florida signees Chris Chiozza, Brandone Francis and Devin Robinson will also play for the White Team. The Green Team includes five-star guard JaQuan Lyle, Indiana signees Max Hoetzel and Robert Johnson, and McDonald's All-American Romelo Trimble, a Maryland signee.
The game will include 18 of the top 70 prospects in the class of 2014, according to Scout.com.
