Lexington Christian turned a seven-point deficit with 3:42 to go into a 65-62 victory against West Jessamine in Nicholasville. Matt Rose had 25 points and five rebounds for the Eagles. Brooks Ely led the Colts with 21 points, and David McCorvey scored 13 points to go with nine rebounds and three steals.
■ Lexington Catholic, No. 15 in Dave Cantrall's Rating the State, got 19 points from Tanner Johnson in a 54-46 victory at home against Lafayette. The Knights, who scored 21 points off 15 Generals turnovers, led by as many as 16 points. Jujuante Carpenter's 19 points for Lafayette included four three-pointers.
■ Hines Jones scored 16 points, including going 4-for-6 from three-point range, and Scott County defeated Woodford County 69-57 in Georgetown. Jamel Banks added 10 points and 11 rebounds for the Cardinals.
■ Lexington Catholic hung in for a quarter and a half before visiting Lafayette pulled away for a 56-35 victory. Dee Givens went 11-for-16 from the field, including 4-for-5 from three-point range, and finished with 27 points, two assists, two blocks and three steals for the Lady Generals. Kiara Pankins added 14 points, five rebounds and two steals.
■ Dasia Kilbourne and Princess Stewart scored 24 and 22 points, respectively, in No. 11 Franklin County's 77-32 rout of visiting Frankfort. Kilbourne also had four rebounds and four assists, and Stewart added eight rebounds, five assists and four steals.
■ Krys McCune scored 25 points to go with 14 rebounds and four steals to help No. 19 Manual slip past No. 17 Mercy 67-65. Malerie Martin scored 32 points, including eight three-pointers, in the Jaguars' loss.
■ Menifee County outscored Sayre 21-17 in the fourth quarter and won 44-40 in Lexington. Ashton Woodard scored 18 points for the Lady Cats. Gabby Bowie had six points, 10 rebounds and five blocked shots for the Lady Spartans.
■ Chelsey Ford scored 25 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in Woodford County's 73-46 win at home against Model.
