Bryan Station, already rated the best boys’ basketball team in the 11th Region and No. 8 in the state, is adding a proven high-scoring player to its rotation.
Ronnie Carson, who averaged 26 points as a junior at East Jessamine last season, transferred to Scott County for his senior year, but left there and moved on to Bryan Station last fall.
Defenders Coach Tommy Johnson confirmed Friday morning that Carson is now eligible and will suit up for Friday night’s game at Woodford County.
Carson, a 6-foot-2 guard, had a school-record 54 points for East Jessamine against Anderson County in December 2013.
Never miss a local story.
Bryan Station (14-4) has been led by Andre Davis (14.7 ppg), C.J. Walker (12.6), Tequan Claitt (12.5) and Deandre Dishman (10.4) this season.
