Clarien Washington scored with 1.5 seconds to go and hit an ensuing free throw to give Scott County's boys basketball team a 71-69 victory against Wayne County in the Toyota Classic finals at Georgetown. Wayne County, 10th in Dave Cantrall's Rating the State, trailed most of the way but had taken a 69-68 lead on Trey Blevins' three-pointer with 34 seconds left.
Blevins went 9-for-16 from three-point range and finished with 32 points for Wayne County. Scott County's Isaiah Johnson had 23 points and 12 rebounds, and Washington scored 19.
■ Shelby Valley trailed by 15 points in the second quarter before rallying to defeat Franklin County in the Toyota Classic. The Wildcats took the lead for good on Corey Hamilton's layup with 1:59 to go. Shelby Valley's Hunter Swindall scored a game-high 19 points, and the Flyers' Ryan Schneider had 16 points, five rebounds, five assists and four steals.
■ Lafayette, coming off a 68-64 loss to host Scott County on Friday, rebounded with an 86-53 victory Saturday against Casey County in the Toyota Classic. Harrison Lane was 5-for-5 from the field — all three-pointers — and finished with 15 points and five assists for the Generals.

■ No. 21 Bullitt East and No. 20 Lafayette were tied at 13-all before the Lady Chargers took control with a 12-0 run in a 58-41 victory in the Raatz Fence Classic in Louisville.
Lindsay Duvall led a balanced Bullitt East scoring attack with 17 points. Lady Generals star Dee Givens scored two points in just under five minutes after reportedly suffering an ankle injury. Ashanti Thomas had 14 points and five blocks for Lafayette.
■ Maci Brown delivered three of her four assists in the final two minutes to help No. 2 Henderson County edge No. 19 Manual 48-44 in the Raatz Fence Classic in Louisville. DeAsia Outlaw scored seven of her 17 points in the fourth quarter in the Lady Colonels' victory. She also had nine rebounds.
■ Woodford County jumped out to an 18-6 lead, but Boone County battled back to earn a 53-49 victory in the Toyota Classic at Georgetown. Macey Ford and Alexis Switzer scored 15 points apiece in the Lady Rebels' win. The Yellowjackets' Chelsey Ford scored 11 of her 22 points at the free-throw line.
■ Connecticut signee Napheesa Collier scored 29 points to lead Incarnate Word (Mo.) past host Mercy 66-47 in the Raatz Fence Classic in Louisville. The 17th-rated Jaguars got 17 points and three steals from Erin Muthler.
■ Clay County's Ajaycia Cotton scored 37 points and had five assists, but host Scott County prevailed 75-70 in the Toyota Classic at Georgetown. Peyton Riddle had 16 points and five assists for the Cardinals.
■ No. 10 Butler pulled away in the fourth quarter for a 58-43 victory against No. 7 Franklin County in the Raatz Fence Classic in Louisville. The Bearettes' Fontasia Jeffries and the Lady Flyers' Dasia Kilbourne both scored 14 points.
■ Top-ranked Elizabethtown defeated Riverdale (Tenn.) 77-64 in the Raatz Fence Classic in Louisville. Lady Panthers star Erin Boley had 28 points and 12 rebounds.
■ Madison Central sophomore Mallie Cornett had a triple-double — 15 points, 14 rebounds and 10 blocks — in a 37-34 victory against Casey County.
