Credit the Hogs with Knox Central's 21-13 victory over West Jessamine in Saturday's opening game of the Republic Bank Bluegrass Bowl at Lexington Catholic.
Jeffrey Canady, who ran for 142 yards and the go-head touchdown, did.
"It was a hard-fought game. They had athletes all over the field," said Canady, who earned team MVP honors. "Our biggest asset though, I think, is probably our 'O' and 'D' lines. They're just big hogs. They do a good job up front."
Knox's big guys blocking for Canady included center Austin Hodge, guards Dee Castle and Codi Diamond, and tackles Braxton Lovett and Tyler Grubb.

Catholic met John Hardin in the later game.
Knox Central (2-0) opened the scoring, getting a 5-yard touchdown run by Jonathan Gist with 6:29 left in the half.
After a West punt, the Panthers tried to extend the lead to 10 points.
However, Diamond's 46-yard field-goal attempt was blocked by Will Knight. Carter Hahn advanced the ball to the Colts' 47-yard line with 1:49 left.
A horse-collar-tackle penalty and a 39-yard pass from Ryan Horne to Knight put the ball inside the Knox 5.
A run, stopped for a loss at the 5, was followed by the tying touchdown play. A 5-yard pass from Horne to Sean Donaldson, coupled with Derrick Little's PAT, made it 7-7 with 42 seconds left.
The score remained 7-7 until Canady skirted around right end for a 30-yard touchdown on the third play of the fourth quarter. Diamond's kick made it 14-7.
After an exchange of punts, West Jessamine drove 77 yards in 10 plays, scoring on Devin Taylor's 9-yard run with 1:58 left. However, a low snap and kick left Knox with a 14-13 lead.
The Colts (0-2) narrowly missed recovering an onside kick and, with 30 seconds left, Gist scored on a 32-yard run.
"I'm proud of the kids, the effort," West Coach Graham Heasley said. "One of the things we weren't sure — we're so young — is how we would react when things turned against us. And the way the kids came back, especially that last drive all the way down the field, the kids showed a lot of moxie. Showed that they had it in them."
West's last gasp came when Canady picked off a Colts pass with three seconds left on his own 36.
"Our kids came out a little flat and I think we may have even taken them lightly," Panthers Coach Scott Russell said. "But West Jessamine came out ready to play and took it right at us.
"I was real proud of our team for coming out the second half and, up front, we kind of took control of the ball game."
Gist finished with 91 yards on 15 carries. Jonathan Barger went 4-for-14 passing for 53 yards.
Horne led West, going 10-for-19 passing, good for 115 yards, and rushing nine times for 67 yards.
West's Robert Irgang led all tacklers with eight. John Shepherd and Derrick Smith each had four for Knox.
John Hardin 47, Lexington Catholic 37: Eli Mitchell threw for five touchdowns to lead the visitors.
Jeremy Harness and Wade Holtsclaw had two TD catches each, and Harness ran for another.
John Hardin has won 24 consecutive regular-season games and 46 of 47.
The Bulldogs (2-0) led 27-20 at halftime.
Harness scored on passes of 15 and 35 yards, plus a 65-yard sprint on a reverse.
Harness' 35-yard score came a play after Hunter Holloway sacked Catholic's Kyle Bolin for a 16-yard loss on a fourth-and-4 play.
Mitchell also connected with Jalen Fleming for a 62-yard touchdown.
Catholic (1-1) got 37- and 25-yard field goals from Bobby Jacoby and a 47-yard TD pass from Bolin to Casey Nash.
Between the field goals and pass touchdown, the Knights also scored on Josh Mesmer's 31-yard fumble return, forced when Alex Nash stripped Mitchell of the ball.
The Bulldogs pushed their lead to 41-31 through three quarters, getting Holtsclaw TD grabs of 12 and 33 yards.
Catholic tallied on a 25-yard Jacoby field goal and a 1-yard TD sneak by Bolin.
Bolin scored on a 3-yard run with 2:20 left.
John Hardin's Quinsie Brown scored on a 15-yard run with 1:43 left.
