A few events to watch for among the numerous entertainment options, demonstrations and other activities at the Kentucky Experience, Equine Village, Alltech Experience and Trade Show:
Two as One Horsemanship: Bob Jeffreys and Suzanne Sheppard demonstrate how good equitation isn't about which discipline you ride; it's about using your body correctly to improve your horse's way of going, whether you enjoy dressage, reining, cutting, trail riding, hunter jumpers, etc. Village Arena, 4 p.m.
Saddle for Life: Jochen Schleese of Schleese Saddlery in Ontario, Canada, presents an educational lecture/demonstration on innovative saddle fitting to protect your horse. Clinicians Corral, noon.
The four-person, old-time band Mountain Echoes sings and plays traditional music, gospel songs and Appalachian music interspersed with history and stories. Music is played on Kentucky's own state instrument, the mountain dulcimer, and also autoharp, banjo, harmonica, pennywhistle, spoons and banjo-mere. Noon.
