■ Caleb's Posse, who defeated champion Uncle Mo to win the Grade I King's Bishop, breezed 6 furlongs in 1:13.20 at Keeneland on Saturday in preparation for the Breeders' Cup. Caleb's Posse's connections are leaning toward racing in the Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile but also are considering the Breeders' Cup Sprint. Trainer Donnie Von Hemel said the colt likely would ship to Churchill on Oct. 28, and have his final Breeders' Cup work on Oct. 30 or Oct. 31.
■ Jockey James Graham rode three winners on the day to bring his total to nine through Saturday, third overall in the riders' standings.
■ While Julien Leparoux has a clear lead in the jockeys' standings, the race for leading trainer continues to be a tight battle. Ken McPeek led all conditioners with seven wins but Al Stall and Graham Motion are one behind with six victories each.
