Lexington loses bid to Canada to host 2018 World Equestrian Games

The 2018 World Equestrian Games won't be held in Lexington, which hosted the 2010 edition of the event. Kentucky lost its bid for the Games, which are to be held in Bromont, Quebec. Kentucky submitted a proposal when bidding for the 2018 Games was reopened last summer after Bromont's bid ran into financial difficulties.
