Grand Circuit racing begins Thursday night at The Red Mile in Lexington, highlighted by four Bluegrass Stakes divisions for 2-year-old fillies.
Wild Honey, a Jimmy Takter-trainee fresh off her world record 1:55.2 win in a division of the Standardbred Stakes at the Delaware County Fair in Ohio, is the 6-5 favorite in the first division. Stakes-winner Jolene Jolene, from the barn of trainer Jonas Czernyson, is the 9-5 favorite in the second split. Lilu Hanover, also trained by Takter, is the 5-2 pick in the third division. Allerage Star, a stakes-winner trained by Jessica Okusko, is the 5-2 choice in the fourth division.
Racing continues throughout the weekend. Post times Thursday-Saturday are 7 p.m. Sunday's first post is 1 p.m.
