Coming up: Tizfiz, a 5-year-old daughter of Tiznow who is coming off a sixth-place finish in the Grade I Juddmonte Spinster on Oct. 11, takes on males on the closing-day card Saturday in the Grade II Fayette over 11⁄8 miles. Tizfiz scored two consecutive stakes victories on turf when she won the West Virginia Senate President's Stakes at Mountaineer in August and the Edward J. DeBartolo Sr. Memorial Handicap at Remington in September. In January, Tizfiz captured the Grade II San Gorgonio on turf at Santa Anita.

■ She Be Wild, second in the Grade I Darley Alcibiades, turned in a bullet work Friday when she breezed 5 furlongs in 1:001⁄5 in preparation for her expected start in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies at Santa Anita Park on Nov. 6. Other Breeders' Cup contenders working Friday included Karelian, second in the Grade I Shadwell Turf Mile, breezing 5 furlongs in 1:002⁄5, and Mint Chip, who worked 4 furlongs in :483⁄5. Mint Chip has first preference in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf and second preference in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile. Karelian has first preference in the Breeders' Cup Mile and second preference in the Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile.
■ Proud Lisa took the lead inside the three-sixteenths pole and steadily pulled away to an authoritative victory in the $45,928 Stonetower Purse Friday at Keeneland. The 3-year-old daughter of Proud Citizen ran 1½ miles on the yielding turf and carried Kent Desormeaux to his third win of the afternoon. It was her third win in 10 career starts.
■ Through Thursday, five horses have made the most of the short Fall Meet by racing twice and winning twice. Members of the group are Moon Town, Orchestrator, Dana's Bell, Wisdom Walk and Cape San Blas.
