Aruna, winner of the Grade I Juddmonte Spinster last fall, will be making her first start since finishing a troubled fifth in the Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Turf at Churchill Downs in November.
■ Marketing Mix, winner of the Grade II Mrs. Revere at Churchill Downs on Nov. 12, made a triumphant seasonal debut Wednesday when she drew off by 11/4 lengths to win the day's feature, a one-mile $67,000 allowance race on the turf. The 4-year-old daughter of Medaglia d'Oro was second in the Grade I Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup at Keeneland in October and now has won four of her last five outings.
■ Jockey Julien Leparoux booted home three winners on the day, taking the second race with Quick Split, the seventh with Marketing Mix, and the eighth and final race with One Last Nitemare.
