Miguel Arrendell homered, doubled and singled, and drove in three runs as the Lexington Legends extended their winning streak to four games with a 7-2 win over the Delmarva Shorebirds on Friday night at Applebee's Park.
Arrendell led off the bottom of the first with his first home run of the season. He singled and scored on a single by J.D. Martinez in the third.
Grant Hogue's RBI single in the fourth extended the Legends' lead to 3-1, and Kody Hinze drove in a run with a base hit in the fifth to make the score 4-1. The RBI was Hinze's 59th of the year, which leads the South Atlantic League.
Arrendell doubled in two runs in the bottom of the eighth. Jiovanni Mier followed with a sacrifice fly for the game's final run.
