Angel Cuan allowed one bunt single through six innings, and the Sand Gnats broke through with two runs in the sixth to beat the Lexington Legends 2-0 Monday and complete a four-game sweep in Savannah.
Alonzo Harris drove in a run with a triple, and Rafael Fernandez followed with a single to ruin an otherwise good start for Lexington's Ruben Alaniz (5-9). He allowed only one other hit through six innings and struck out four with two walks.
The Legends were held to four hits overall, and Cuan (9-1) continued his stellar play for the Sand Gnats, striking out nine with no walks.
The 5-foot-11, 150-pound lefty is tied for third in the South Atlantic League in wins and fifth in ERA (3.02). He's allowed three runs in his last three starts.
