The Lexington Legends have announced five stops around Kentucky for their pre-season caravan.
The visits will take place during the first two weeks in February. Additional caravan stops will be announced soon, the team said.
The events are designed not only to generate anticipation for the 2014 season, but to allow the Legends to show appreciation to fans and media throughout the region.
"The Legends' caravan is a sure sign that spring and baseball are on the way," said Legends president and chief operating officer Andy Shea. "We appreciate the support of the fans, and we encourage them to come out and be part of the fun when the caravan comes to town."
At each stop, the Legends will have items to give away, and fans will also have a chance to win prizes, including tickets to the opening night game April 3. Legends mascot Big L will be available for photographs, and live radio broadcasts will originate from each location.
