What he did in 2011: Faried led the Morehead State men's basketball team (25-10) to the best season in school history, punctuated by an upset of Louisville in the NCAA Tournament. He set the modern NCAA career rebounding record and was named a third-team Associated Press All-American. The Newark, N.J., product was named OVC Player of the Year for the second consecutive season and became the first Morehead player ever picked in the first round of the NBA Draft.
