The season is winding down but local bowlers are not as they continued their high-scoring ways with two 800 series and three perfect games in recent action.
Jerry Hatton rolled an 812 at Collins Bowling Centers-Eastland on March 16 in the Friday Night Fun League, and Michael Mynear rolled an 811 at Collins Bowling Centers-Southland last Monday in the James R. Wafford Memorial League.
Hatton posted a 279 in his first game, followed by a 266 and a 267. Mynear sandwiched one of the week's perfect games between a 268 and a 243.
The other two perfect games were rolled by Greg Bell, who used it to highlight a 726 series, and Chris Maddox, who posted a 732, both in the Friday Night Fun League at Eastland.
